Title: 97 sail mesurement

Has anybody got a copy of the measurement spread sheet for 97 rule sail measurements as rules state max area for white sails 12.5m2
is that calculated with 1/2 luff x foot measurement or is it more complex

Its exactly the same calculation method as the current rules: the IYRU/ISAF sail measurement process. I do have a spreadsheet somewhere which does the actual sums, but it doesn't work well for square topped sails, which need a little extra work. But a spreadsheet that will work for the current rule will be fine for the 97 rules, the process is the same, only the desired total differs.
