After discussion with Paul at Weymouth there is room for an event end September (27/28).
Saturday blasting, boat swapping and perhaps taking some potential cherub sailors for rides (perhaps a speed competition). Start time whenever you choose (club opens at 9:30 - we will be there from 10)
Sunday 3 back to back Windward Leewards on the big side of the reservoir. 2 races to count. Start time for race 1 will be 10:35
Accom - Chez Peters or Premier Inn & Travelodge both at Sunbury Cross
Food and Drink Sat eve as usual by the river in Lower Sunbury. Choice of pub food, Indian, Chinese or Italian. I will book what the majority desire.
Entry fee £30 for the 2 days.

We would be up for this, work permitting.
-
Same

Cheese will be there, what time does the event start on Saturday morning? Need to pick up a hobbit from Ashford station:)
-
Ronin shall defiantly be there waiting to find out if Alex will be free but should be good and floor space at chez Peters would be awesome if possible :)
-
Fuzzy will try to make it. I have few other commitments to get out of first, but optimistic.
-
i will try to be there in some form or another :D
-
Sorry, work commitments prevent me being there. Have a good one.
-
We plan on being there, could we book some floor space please.
-
Just a thought. if Saturday is a blast, is there potential for contacting yachts and yachting to advertise for people to have a go?
-
There is nothing stopping us putting it on the YY public forum.
It never hurts to have the class mentioned.
-
Andy, would QMSC have any issues with this? If not do you have access to the Y&Y forum?
-
Don't think so - I'll check on Sunday. Once I've done that I'll contact Mark at Y&Y and get an article put on the main pages and start a topic on the forum. I have a user name somewhere tho I haven't posted for ages.

Fuzzy packed and ready for this weekend' barts bash. If still in 1 piece, Fuzzy ready for QM as well, chez renault, if no room at the 'peters inn.
-
Ade, I'm sure we can find you room - if only on the drive ;D
-
I have a friend who is interested in crewing this weekend - anyone need an extra body?
-
As Saturday is a blast they would be very welcome to come along and have a go in Eleanor.
I don't know if any crews are needed for Sunday.
-
I've 'publicised' this on Y&Y and had a reply from Mark Jardine. I have yet to see it appear though :(
-
I hope wind guru has the forecast wrong this weekend. It's looking very light.
-
I seriously wish I could make it!

Humm less blast more whimper. At least rain isn't forecast. Still there is wind nearby the north UK over the w/e so lets hope it drops southwards
-
Any blasting.
-
A disappointing weekend wind wise. No sailing at QM this weekend. Thanks to Andy and Jill for hosting once again.
-
sorry for not coming but we took a butchers at the forecast and thought the weather slightly 'iffy'. We sorted Joes GCSE go-pro sailing evidence in good wind on the Friday though. Mothie sailing is improving! looks like I might be in the pointy end soon. Oldest 'FB' on the wire!
