Recently Ade, Tom and Nigel got to work on a couple of projects.

Ade's mast got a good repair and Loco's new foil made progress

That would be telling...

...but no. The cut away top is to enable us to adjust fore/aft angle. Not active control but possibly switching between positions upwind/downwind.

I suppose in doing this you have also neatly sidestepped the issue of trying to design and build a board to fit well in an existing case... by building it so it doesn't fit.

I will be interested to see how you get on!
