From 2nd to 10th August a trip to Garda is happening.
Driving boats and windsurfing kit and bikes over via ferry to have a fantastic action packed, party packed holiday.
Costs will be kept to a minimum so camping instead of luxury hotel (though the choice is yours).
So far 1 car is going:
Roland
Tom Hole
Simon Clements
Mark Clements
Polly
If you'd like to join our adventure by driving up with boats or flying directly we'd love to see more people coming. It's going to be a real hoot!

What part of Garda ?
-
The plan is to keep Andy and Jill company at Riva.
There is space on the trailer for one more boat if anyone wants to fly out...
-
If you could reserve that space then I will inform parents and crew
-
Great that some of you are joining us - its always awesome at Garda - even when it rains a decent bottle of wine isn't far away......
There is a campsite right by the lake just along the shore from the sailing club (easy walking distance). You will need to book and suggest you do so soon.
Suggest also you bring some small sails in case it fully blows. We can lend an RS mainsail which works quite well.

It is an unfortunate no from me
-
I'm wearing the parents down, I shall go to garda!!!
-
So.... is there a Cherub presence at Garda this year?
-
The Peters have Usagi here. No sign of any others. Andy and Jill have just won the 200s. Jill wore her cherub tee shirt on the podium.
-
Congratulations Andy and Jill. Jill Top marks.
-
Well done Andy and Jill. A class act, especially the t-shirt...did she mention that a new Cherub can cost about the same as a new RS200 and that really good Cherubs are available pre-loved at ridiculous prices?
-
Three cherubs on the water today -Usagi, Born Slippy and Poppy blasting down the lake kites up, waiting for the wind to change and heading back in exactly the same manner.
-
Some epic cherubing happening at Garda. F5-6 Monday - a little wild, F3-5 last 2 days, 20 minute downwinds at 15-18knts. Here are a couple of pics. Lots of video taken which we will edit when bored at home. No time for that here!

and a gybe by the cliffs..... water is flat as we were so close though the go-pro doesn't really show it.
