Hi all,
Sorry to impede my mothnes upon you, but you are the people to ask.

basically i have a 16mm carbon tube (gantry) and 8mm eye bolts.

i used to fill up the inside of the hole with bog then drill/tap it for the bolt. I'm looking for a better way.

i could helicoil it? (thoughts please)

what other people are doing is making a top hat shape out of nylon, plug drill/tap and plexus that in.

id like to gauge your thoughts on the matter.

Starter for 10, but not a definitive answer - there will be others out there with a better one.
Would also wind some toe around the outside of the tube where the bolts are.
