Title: 2628??
Post by: Neil C. on May 14, 2008, 12:08:49 AM
As part of the 2631 restoration project I've been looking through the image gallery of the 1980's. There are a number of photos of Cherub 2628. This boat doesn't appear on the boat list though. Anybody know what design this was, or anything of it's history?

Hi Neil,

2628 is Slartibartfast - last seen in Pembrokeshire.

Apparently this boat was modded to have an old skool 14 rig and twin wires... back in the day!

Ask Gav about it.

Slartibartfast was owned by the chap I got my boat from... fixed pole, penultimate 14 rig and some crazy scaffolding on the back from what I remember... again, gav would be the person to speak too about it (funny how often that phrase comes up...)
