Did anybody see the programme yesterday on the heyday of 1950s and 60s British sports cars? Descriptions of driving some of them reminded me of Cherub sailing compared to bigger boats.
Small, close to the road, water coming up through where the pedals go through the floor, huge sensation of speed, throw them round corners, swing the back out, fun to drive...chick magnets (sorry Hayley)

What can I say? It's true. (Well, I've always been a sucker for a pretty boat...)
Oh, and i think it might work both ways - you know that "girl in a sports car" thing? You only need to check out "skiff chicks racing" on facebook ;)

They're going to create quite a stir in the JJ Giltinan this year! Fantastic...can't wait...boys hate it when girls beat them. Steep learning curve I guess and 18s are brutes so strength matters but...who knows?
When are women going to break into Formula 1? :)

This was on an airfield... I hate to think what is possible around a track with other cars!
for those who don't know me... this is a joke so don't be offended

Such an accident wouldn't have resulted in injury on a track. F1s are notorioiusly tricky at low speed...she was very unlucky because it happened on an airfield - no barriers

She was on Spanish tv yesterday. She came accross as very honest about the shock when she first saw herself but clearly has alot of wilpower and will find something amazing to do with her life.
