The annual competition to choose photographs for the Fotoboat calendar has started – with a difference, this year. The gallery of candidates for the calendar has been posted on Fotoboat's Facebook page. All you need to do is browse the gallery (follow the link from the Fotoboat home page), and "Like" the photos you would like to see in the calendar. You can also leave a comment if you wish – the best comments may be included in the calendar.
Mike Rice, Fotoboat's founder said "2013 will be the ninth year of the Fotoboat Calendar, and the starting selection is one of our best ever. It shows the whole range of dinghy sailing, from juniors in Oppies and Toppers to a well-known multiple Olympic gold medallist. We have chosen the 60 candidates from a total of nearly 20,000 images posted to the website this year. I am looking forward to watching the "likes" roll in and selecting the final 12."
Voting will close on 20 October. The Fotoboat 2013 Calendar, featuring the 12 most liked images, will go on sale shortly afterwards.
There is also a poll on the Fotoboat front page where you can vote to have Fotoboat produce your own class calendar.

Theres a photo there of Ben and myself sailing Born Slippy at the nationals, it would be great for the class if we had a cherub image on the calendar.
