Title: Possible October Blast at Datchet
Post by: bower on June 17, 2012, 10:47:33 PM: Hello Everyone.

Thinking about trying to set up a Blast weekend at Datchet on either the 6th/7th or 13th/14th October. We can get my Rib up there for rescue and so long as you have a couple of carpet tiles then rolling boats over on the beach is ok. (and it'll be good practice for the inlands at QM a month later). Let me know what anyone thinks and I'll chat to the club about it.

Well done Mr B. Do the Tubbiest's know about the '97 revival and there will be a fleet to race with at Phwelli?
Give them a nudge - we can find crew's and helms if asked....

However the good news is that the Rib will be back on the water for next season, so hopefully we.ll be able to get some awesome footage of cherubs doing what they do best!

Is that where the inlands are in Nov? what date for the blast then i guess its not all 3 weekends? I'm up for it depending on who, when, where, how much? blar blar blar.

Queen Mary Reservoir is a seperate puddle, a few miles SE and home to Queen Mary SC, Inlands will be here.

Confusing I know had the same problem first time we went there.

Not sure if the blast is happening...

Thanks Andy for the QM and Datchett clarification stuff. I was really confused. I hope the sat nav gets sorted B4 in the inlands otherwise I will be driving round Heathrow all weekend knowing me!.
