Title: video message?

I will be making a video message to explain why I am not at a VIP's birthday party and I am sailing insted.
I thought from the wire would be the best place to be when I explain, Any ideas on what kit I will need to get for this?
Sound is going to be the biggest issue I think because. Is this possible?
Any tech heads out there have any ideas?

We have a Go-Pro that you can borrow for this. Sound is OK, but not brilliant....

I may have to look into ways of getting a good sound quality as this is for a non sailor who will like the message more than the video.
