Title: Nationals T-Shirts and other fun and frolics
Post by: Hayley_Trim on June 25, 2012, 01:15:08 PM

***Very Important Decision***(for the fashion conscious among you)

I will be sourcing Nationals T-shirts this year.

Please can I have your orders now so I can get an accurate quote and the best price.
It will be a short sleeved t-shirt. For the ladies there is the option of a flattering lady-shaped t-shirt.

Please specify
1. number of shirts
2. if you want normal t-shirt or ladies
3. if you want S, M, L, XL.

If you tell me you want one, I'll take that as a commitment to buy.

It's usually around £15 per shirt, but I'll pass on any savings I can.

I'm also happy to order hoodies if people would like one. Let me know numbers ASAP and I'll confirm cost on these before firming up orders as obviously these will be more expensive and fewer orders will mean less of a bulk discount.

(You can PM me if you'd rather keep your order discreet. I promise I won't pass on any information about sizes, choice of ladies shirts for weekend wear only, etc.)

Can you give us any idea of colour and design ?

One for Eddie, I guess M, one for me - I guess FAT, probably L or maybe XL, dunno !

Sam, first of all...use your own account, secondly you need to join the class association.

Can you give us any idea of colour and design ?

Don't worry they won't be pink.  At least I don't think so...

Likely to be an inoffensive shade of black, white or grey but I'm playing around with it.  Design will be mostly on the back of the shirt and be appropriately themed. It will hopefully include the correct spelling of Pwllheli  ;D

But can you pronounce it Hayley?  :D

Oh and count us in...might fancy a hoodie or two, or t shirts depending on cost

I look good in grey

Cheers guys, keep 'em coming.

Great to hear Sweet Dreams is almost there Ade. And the fun and frolics part is absolutely guaranteed and in no way optional.

Count us in.  Medium for me and ladies small for Sarah.

Do they do baby grows?  Humm! may have to copy the design on to Alex's myself.

Spoke to Si today, as he has no internet connection at his new home yet he asked if i could post for him. He would like a medium t-shirt please Hayley.
Would so much like to get him a ladies top as he is a bit of an old woman lol, but he would probably never talk to me again (all quiet on Eleanor then)

would it be possible to have a breakdown of chest sizes for the t-shirts? I am slightly worried about my medium decision

I am getting a couple of quotes and so shirts not fixed yet. Once I have a banker i'll clarify measurements. Much as it would be hilarious to have you all walking around in clingy  skintight  shirts, I may also use a certain amount of discretion and common sense...

We must see the design before we buy. I've never been asked to part with cash (unknown) for a product (unknown) before by anyone other than a Nigerian internet con artist!

Sarah may like a hoodie instead of a t-shirt please if the cost is not too great. She was annoyed not to get a 60th hoodie last year.

Hi Hayley.  Probably also count us in 2 sweat shirts ;  Joe (XS) and I (XL) as well - when we see it on the catwalk!
Sweet Dreams 99% done! Still no sailing for me yet though! My recovery is taking longer than I expected. Still planning on launching Aug 1st all being well and the fun and frolics on the 20th.

When you get to my age you'll find the thought of an opportunity to go figure hugging a lass is almost as appealing as it is unlikely...

Team Loco would be up for rash vests for over the top of everything too...

...and I'm with the caveat emptor voices too Hayley ;)

Any chance of some design examples?

And I thought you'd all want it to be a surprise!
But seriously, design is currently going through final QC and committee stage and I expect it will be posted tomorrow. Quotes also coming in...

Here's the T-shirt design if you'd like a gander.

Cost from the quotes I have so far is £10 per T-shirt and £20 per hoodie. It will not be more than that.  Bargain!

News on rashies to follow.

I plan to view the shirts before confirming exact colours and measurements but very likely to be a grey T-shirt with a  dark blue logo (see example image attached).

Cheers
H

Fairly deep maroon? or bright red? The traditional Welsh red is bright red...not sure how that would look

Ben...I'll bring the spinners for you  :D

bright red! with mybe a negative image for the logo

This morning I went to the T-shirt man and had a look at the various colour shirts. The red is not very good.

I enquired about a red option for those who would like it, but this would increase the price.  It would also defeat the object of a show of cherub unity.

Having consulted with some other members of the class, there are those who would definitely not want red. The executive decision is therefore to stick to plan A.

You now have permission to whinge if you must   ::)

20th August 2005
6th December 19**

It's kind of a mantra I recite to keep me calm. Can't tell you when I was born, but not really worth remembering.
As for the T-shirts.  Our boats are going, so we must be able to sort the shirts. But, we can happily to post them.

Having shipped all known orders, there was a medium hoodie left over. I can't find a record of anyone having ordered it and it may just be a random spare, but if you did order it, please shout now or it will find another home.
