Madge

2646 had a major update during 2011-2015 where Nick Pratt updated her to be a 97 rules championship winner (2014).

After completing the build of green bananas he sold the boat to me, ready for race Madge for another season, where we managed to compete in most events of the year to some extent including winning the 2016 national champs (97 cat).

Winter of 2016 will see Madge have some improvements and strengthening ready for another season of abuse.

This has now been bought by Nick Pratt. We have plans to get this boat sailing again next year. Photos of the refit to follow.

Photo's below are it's current state coming out of Graham's barn.

Madge “The Badge” Allsop has been rescued from deepest South Wales and dragged back to Brightlingsea on the Essex coast to be Paul Smith's next restoration project in an attempt to recapture the past and restotre a six Cherub fleet to the club not seen since 1985.

Another of the original fleet helms has been lined up to ditch his RS400 a rekindle his teenage romance.
